Frequently Asked Question

Windows Update is automatically done 1 a month.  However, occasionally, Microsoft release an update either for security or bug fix that is needed more urgently.  

To perform a manual update, 

1.  Rightclick your "start button"

2.  Click on "Windows Update"

3.  Click on "Check for Updates" and "install" as needed.  May need to repeat these steps until the left side says "you're up to date" and click on "advanced options"

4.  Click on "Optional Updates" and complete until fully up to date.
